  2. Humanity is, no matter our relative newness to galactic affairs or our lack of influence and power, the galactic communities last and best hope for salvation from destruction. Why? Because we have moxy. And gumption.
  3. All alien species have the ability to speak English, regardless of their anatomy.
  4. Artificial Intelligence won’t be nearly as useful as Ray Kurzweil seems to think it will. By all accounts it will exist mainly to terrify and hurt us.
  5. There will be no significant developments in elevator technology by the year 2183. If anything the elevator technology of 2183 will have regressed from 2008 standards.
  6. People will only be allowed to travel in groups of three, unless you’re a villain’s henchmen/women.
  7. Gamblers in futuristic societies don’t have time for any sort of complicated games of chance.
  8. No matter how much previous experience you have as a soldier it won’t be taken into consideration when you start out on the path of a universe saving adventure.
  9. Conversational technique has been so refined In the future that there will only ever be three valid conversational options no matter what you’re discussing or who your discussing it with.
  10. Seth Green’s descendants will be excellent spaceship pilots.
